Is Vivian Ok? is a short film I made after receiving an autism diagnosis. The project is a personal and honest attempt to capture what it is like to be a teenager dealing with the fallout of learning more about yourself. Specifically, I wanted to explore the unique challenges that neurodivergent women struggle with in adolescence. I completed the project in 2024, but the majority of production happened when I was 19. This project let me throw myself into filmmaking and create the kind of representation I wanted to see in media.
